A fan of science fiction from an early age, Daley was elated when the Star Wars saga emerged. Fundamentally changed from the moment he stepped out of the theater, he saw it as the experience which would popularize science fiction for mass audiences. He was chosen as the author for the first Star Wars spin-off novels, The Han Solo Adventures. Brian Daley was an acclaimed author, a Vietnam Vet, and an avid traveler. Included within the collection are notes, photographs, professional and personal correspondence, drafts, newspaper clippings, personal movies, and personal documents.
